Holiday Season Time

Wendy’s Night was fun for all, and raised some money for Anchor Class mission projects.

Upcoming Mission Projects & Offerings

November –

  • Our first Sunday offering (Nov 5) will be for Shared Ministries, for worldwide missions through our Greater NJ Conference.
  • On the third Sunday (Nov 19) our offerings will benefit Neighborhood Center in Camden. Our assistance will help provide Thanksgiving dinner for needy families.

December –

  • Our first Sunday offering (Dec 3) will benefit United Methodist Student Fund.
  • The third Sunday offering (Dec 17) will benefit the Angel Wreath.

We are now entering the holiday season, so let us be thankful for all we have and prepare to support those in need and help feed the hungry. I know we at St. Paul’s are ready for this work!

I’d like to thank everyone who went to Camden to provide a meal: Barbara Hoffman, Helen Rulli, Sandy Daws, Jennie & Don Troxell. Special thanks to Don and Jennie for handling the majority of the cooking.

Wendy’s Night Fundraiser
Thank you for everyone who dined at Wendy’s to support the Anchor Class fundraiser. 15% of the sales will benefit future church mission projects.

Angel Wreath Update
The Angel Wreath will be hung on the first Sunday in December. The names of needy children in our community will be displayed, 2 angels per child: one clothing item and one toy/game item. Please share the holiday joy and make the holiday special for one of our little ‘Angels.’ When you select a paper angel, please mark the sign-up list accordingly, purchase and return your gift on the date indicated.

A special welcome to Janice Grassia who has stepped up as our Angel Wreath Coordinator. Any questions, please see Janice, and make sure to thank her.

Have a blessed Thanksgiving & Christmas season. Remember to keep Christ in Christmas.

Celebrate His Birthday,
Ruth Schultz
