January began our eighth year providing assistance to those in need in our community and surrounding area.

For 2018 we have added two additional Wednesdays for food distribution. Food will be distributed the second Wednesday from 9a-12p and on the third and fourth Wednesday by appointment only.

Our pantry is truly blessed to have wonderful people who generously donate their time and money to see that this mission continues. I’m excited to report that this year we have partnered with ShopRite of Gibbstown and Save-A-Lot in Paulsboro to receive food donations from their stores every week.

The members of St. Paul’s always step up when there is a need. Last month, one of our freezers that we use for the pantry died and I was trying to figure out how to replace it when our Endowment Committee came to the rescue. We now have a new freezer for our food pantry. We have several members who have offered to help with picking up the donations from ShopRite and Save-A-Lot; and many who come out to help with the food distribution every month.

On a final note, thank you for your continued support of our pantry. There is no way we could continue without you.

Have a Blessed Day,

Carol Strock
