Well, the date has been set and Rev. Bill Wilson can’t wait to eat and celebrate with our church family on SUNDAY NOVEMBER 16th at 6pm.
Together, we will enjoy a pot luck supper for the church family after which we will conduct the essential business of a Church Charge Conference for St. Paul’s. EVERYONE at church will be invited and encouraged to attend this celebratory meal together, so start thinking about the meal you will be making for the evening!
Perhaps the most important things you should know are that #1 The Buffalo Bills have a 1pm game, which will be over by 6pm and #2 the Philadelphia Eagles have an 820pm game and the dinner and church conference will be over by then.
I have known Pastor Bill for many years and as we talked I discovered that he has known our church family including many of you for many years so it should be an awesome time together.
I am thankful that our District Superintendent offered us this flexibility because we now have the opportunity to continue St Paul’s of West Deptford’s tradition of having a church family celebration of our Church Conference at St. Paul’s with food, laughter, and prayer!
Please add SUNDAY NOVEMBER 16th at 6pm to your calendars, we should be done by 7:30pm. And talk it up in church so that we get lots of our church family adding the dinner to their plans in November.
Why Should You Come?
Besides being a celebration of our ministry, the annual church conference is when we accomplish the business of the church. We will elect officers and chairpersons, approve the pastor’s salary, and conduct the official business of the church.
We’re hoping for a large turnout this year, so please try to make it. This is YOUR church— come celebrate our ministry!
