Thank you to all those who purchased the Super Bowl Strombolis. We sold 162 this year. A big shout out to those who picked them up at the bakery and those who helped package them for pickup. Next year we will mark the foil bags to identify what’s inside.
Soup Sunday has been a successful fund raiser for the church. Special thanks to Ish at the Piston Diner who prepares and donates the soup. Sunday, March 6th is our next Soup Sunday. The featured soup is Chicken Noodle. You can place your order online at www.stpaulsalive.org or by calling Mary Ann at 856-905-7682. Pick up at church between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. $4.00 a pint or 2 for $7.00. Deadline to place your order is Thursday, March 3rd. If we haven’t offered your favorite soup yet, let Mary Ann know and she will see if we can add it for a future sale.
Sunday, April 3rd is our first Chicken Barbecue. Rode’s in Swedesboro will again be preparing the chicken. For $13.00 you get a half of a chicken, baked beans, corn, homemade coleslaw, roll & butter, and desert. Dinners at the door will be $14.00 but we cannot guarantee we will not be sold out. Best to buy your tickets in advance. Call Sharon Rutter at 856-848-5021 or Mary Ann has tickets for you to get at church on Sunday mornings. We are looking for volunteers to help prepare & package the dinners for takeout. If you can help, please call Sharon Rutter. Mark your calendar. Tickets will be available soon.
Our sale of ShopRite cards continues. St. Paul’s earns 5% of your purchase but you buy your groceries at face value. If you shop at ShopRite, please do it with ShopRite gift cards. Call Mary Ann at 856-905-7682. She will deliver them to your home. How convenient is that?
