A Job Well Done
A few months ago, the community relations team started an outreach program to help the children of the West Deptford schools who are unable to pay their lunch bills.
People who wanted to help, had to count the coats and sweaters and jackets in their closet. They gave one dollar for each item, and then thanked God that they had more than one.
In January, Carla Branyan met with the head of the cafeteria , who keeps all the records of the children’s bills , and presented her with a check for $600. She was extremely appreciative . As Matt Dechen said “St Pauls is amazing.” He will go to the board meeting in February to talk a little bit more about St Pauls and how we help people.
