It is a day to celebrate because we have pretty much paid for the replacement of our two old air conditioning units.
I had no idea how much money we might raise on #GivingTuesday but hoped we could get a good start towards the money we need to keep our Sanctuary cool in the heating season. We had a generous donor offer to match church member donations, and our Mantua Grove Endowment Fund also offered to match donations.
As of the day after Giving Tuesday we’ve reached our goal: $15,000.00 for our air conditioning! Woo hoo! Although we do not have three bids yet, we are estimating that our costs will be in the $15K -$20K range.
All of you are to be congratulated for allowing the matching donations to inspire you to give money toward this project.
