Sunday, June 2 was Children’s Day in worship and it was good to have our Sunday School kids participate in worship!

Our greeters were Declan Hartnett and his dad, Jeff. Victor Ferrara was our acolyte and also our liturgist. He did a great job with a long Scripture this morning. We had special music from Kylie Gibson who played “Edelweiss” on her guitar; Declan Hartnett played “Amazing Grace” on his electric guitar; and Scarlett Hartnett played “How Great Thou Art” on the piano. They were all outstanding on their individual solos and we thank them for sharing their talents with us.

Our SS kids sang a couple of their favorite songs for our Ministry of Music.

We sincerely appreciate the leadership of Elaine Luoma, our SS superintendent and all of our teachers and helpers-Mary Ann Jones, Carla Branyan, Molly Hosier, Jackie Gullifer, Danielle Ferrara, and Debbie Richman.

In Pastor Dave’s message “It’s Personal;  You and God”, he asked us “Have you determined that God is in charge?….God has given us talents and abilities but has also given us free choice….Read the Gospels; it’s good for you.” And our “song of the month” is “He’s Got the Whole World in His Hands.”

Our celebration of our Sunday School was followed by a hot dog and hamburger lunch along with some salads and desserts downstairs in Hickman Hall. There was a “bouncy” house outside in the parking lot for the kids’ enjoyment. Many thanks to our SS staff and friends for providing lunch for us all.

If you were not able to be with us in person or online today, please know that we missed you. Each of you is important to the life of St. Paul’s.
