Way, way back in the 1980s we used to support our mission projects by holding an International Dinner each year. It was potluck, but everyone made a donation to come, and the donations were used toward mission projects. We’d usually have a missionary guest to speak about their work.
I wish I had a photo of all the children. In order to drum up attendance at the dinners, the children’s choir used to sing. They would get dressed up in costumes from various countries and sing a couple songs.
Does anyone else remember this?
