The Methodist churches of West Deptford, National Park and Westville joined together on Sunday, November 24 for our Community Thanksgiving Eve Worship Service. The service was at First United Methodist Church of National Park, located at 414 Asbury Ave.
It was a very nice service. Kathy Mander and Carla Branyan sang two duets,”The Wonder of It All” and “Count Your Blessings,” a favorite of many people. They sang so well together.
Pastor Rob Tomer led the service, Pastor Dave gave the message, and Pastor Walt Mander led us in prayer and closed the service.
Pastor Dave reminded us yesterday that there are many who struggle during Thanksgiving and holiday time. Please lift them in your prayers.
