Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord
Holy Week is quickly approaching and at St. Paul’s we do all we can to celebrate God’s love through Jesus Christ!
Holy Week is a great opportunity to invite friends and family members to church with us. We have two evening services (Maundy Thursday and Good Friday), a sunrise service in a park (Easter morning), and services filled with energetic joy (Palm Sunday and Easter).
PALM SUNDAY APRIL 13th – We worship at 9:30! Come early and get ready to wave your palms with exceeding joy!!
HOLY WEDNESDAY APRIL 16th – Holy Communion at 7am (church doors open at 6:45am); we offer Holy Communion every Wednesday morning but during Holy Week it offers us another opportunity to get closer to God making LENT PERSONAL.
MAUNDY THURSDAY APRIL 17th – We worship at 7pm for this service of reflection and Holy Communion. This is always so special as we remember everything that Jesus went through the night He was arrested in the Garden.
GOOD FRIDAY APRIL 18th – The Lenten Lunch Lessons’ series concludes with a light lunch and worship service beginning at 1100am at Mantua United Methodist Church (201 Mantua Blvd.). Our joint Tenebrae Good Friday Service of Light begins at 7pm at St. Paul’s, with friends from National Park UMC, Westville UMC, and Colonial Manor UMC.
EASTER APRIL 20th – The day begins at sunrise (6:30am) at the Red Bank Battlefield Park with our friends from National Park, Westville, and Colonial Manor. We then worship together at St. Paul’s at 9:30 when our sanctuary will be filled with joy and energy celebrating God’s love for us all.
Set your schedules and plan to be with us to worship God and to celebrate Jesus Christ with a Holy Spirit-inspired energy!
