On Sunday, June 8, we celebrated Children’s Day during worship service.
Dave Fish, dressed in a red plastic rain poncho (straight from a recent trip to Niagara Falls!) and his “hair hat”, talked to the kids about how we are all different, but God loves us the same. He illustrated that by showing the kids $1.00 bills and $1.00 coins. They all equal $1.00 but they are all different, just as we are, but that God loves us all the same.
Dave Fish also gave out $2.00 bills to the kids which were a gift from Gloria Lee. Gloria saved the $2.00 bills and wanted to give them to our kids in church. Many thanks to Gloria!
We honored two high school and college graduates, Aurora Beidle and Mackenzie Markham.
Finally, we all enjoyed a hoagie luncheon and the kids played some games as we celebrated the end of another year of Sunday School.
