It takes a village… or at least a willing and active church congregation!
Many thanks to EVERYONE that helped with the chicken dinner on October 19. A lot goes into the preparation and serving of 400 chicken dinners! Thanks to all of you, we raised almost $2,500 towards meeting our expenses for the year.
Most of all thanks to Sharon Rutter, who not only organizes the whole event, but also gets donations of much of the food for the dinner, maximizing our profit. Thanks also to husband Gary, who does whatever Sharon asks him to!
Thanks also to all the many people that help by selling tickets, prepping, mixing, cooking, serving, and cleaning up after the dinner. There are too many to name here, but just know we appreciate your efforts so much!
Finally, thanks to everyone that bought tickets. Without you, there would be no dinner served!!
