Dear ladies of the church and friends,

It was great to see everyone on September 14 at our opening session of our Fall Bible Study! If you were not able to join us, we missed you. We had a great discussion about Jochebed and Miriam. As Shannon Bream writes, “Jochebed was a woman of faith.”

On September 21 we will discuss chapter 2, “Naomi and Ruth” a beloved story. Note, there will be no class on September 28.

It is not too late to join us. We are doing Shannon Bream’s “Mothers and Daughters of the Bible Speak” and you can purchase a book from Amazon or other booksellers and jump right in. We meet Wednesday mornings at 10 and are done by 11:30. We have 33 ladies signed up, and 25 were present at our opening session. You’re not required to attend every session, but any week you are able to attend, you can learn and grow with our ladies.

We meet in the sanctuary when Food Pantry is happening, and in Hickman Hall when it is available. The CDC has relaxed the Covid guidelines, and we no longer need to social distance; however, if you feel more comfortable wearing a mask and/or social distancing, that is fine. We want everyone to be comfortable.

Thank you for your dedication to our Bible study. It takes all of us to make it work, and God blesses our time together!  See you in church!

Patty
