We are collecting plastic bags and wraps to recycle into a bench! Dave Fish introduced this new project to our children in his children’s message on February 2.

We have joined with St. Andrews UMC in Cherry Hill to help them collect 1,000 pounds of plastic bags and wrap items for recycling. This project is in memory of the Branyans’ friend Bernadette Exley. She passed away in October and, an avid environmentalist, her last wish was to have a recycled bench made in her memory.

The St. Andrew’s project is going well, and once they’ve reached the 1,000-lb goal, we will begin collecting for our own bench.

Please bring your plastic bags and wraps in and place in our collection bin in the side foyer. Items collected are shown below.
